Welcome!
Hi! I'm Mariana Becerra and I am a junior transfer student from here in San Antonio. I previously attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina, alma mater of Tim Duncan. I am a Spanish major and a Biology and Latin American Studies double minor here at Trinity, and I am also on the track to attend Physician's Assistant school after graduation. I lived Cuernavaca, Mexico until I was 9 and am the eldest of three girls. I love to dance, eat, travel, and absolutely love anything that has to do with a spanish speaking country. I am a proud owner of a mac, and this past summer I had to use many different programs for my internship, so I feel as Im up to speed on excel and powerpoint. If you have any questions or comments my email is mbecerra@trinity.edu.

Both of my parents are PAs and they absolutely love their jobs! My dad works in the Internal Medicine Clinic at BAMC on Ft. Sam, and my mom is the Dean of the Department of Combat Medic Training on post as well. I wish you the best of luck!
ReplyDeleteWhere exactly is Cuernavaca? I have been going to Mexico City every summer for the past few years. Isn't it very near there?
ReplyDeletethat is really great that you lived in another country for almost half your life. I visit Mexico often because I grew up in southern california and it was only a car trip away. I remember crossing the boarder to get breakfast tacos on sunday with my family when we lived in San Diego.
ReplyDeleteLucky you to live in Cuernavaca - I like Las Mananitas!
ReplyDeleteI think it is really cool that you are from Mexico. I am almost ashamed to admit that I have lived in San Antonio nearly all my life and I have never been to Mexico.
ReplyDeleteMariana, you remember me from Oblate the other night? I told you how you should have stayed at Wake.
